The team includes Dr. Sathone, associate professor of obstetrics & gynecology, and two nurses. During the one-week training, the experts of obstetrics & gynecology and HIFU center in our hospital shared their rich experiences in HIFU treatment with the visiting trainees through lectures, discussions, and clinical teaching, etc. The visiting trainees mastered preliminarily basic techniques and management process of HIFU treatment through on-the-spot learning of its implementation process, attentive observation of HIFU procedure, and actual practice under teachers' directions.
Dr. Sathone visited our hospital as a trainee of the Fifth International Training Workshop on Ultrasound Therapy of Tumors in July, 2016, during which he received rehabilitation treatment in our hospital for sequela of hand trauma and got good curative effect. During the intervals of this one-week training, he received again a variety of traditional Chinese rehabilitation techniques which impressed him deeply. Dr. Sathone and his team are going to carry out HIFU treatment on their own in Thailand, and they plan to come back again to our hospital for enhanced training in April.
